"You can't do baseball comfortably." Tens of thousands of batting foam...A researcher who even recognized the national batter. That's why he's running for a long time

Doosan Bears outfielder Jung Soo-bin (35) of the Korean pro baseball team is known to change his batting form from time to time even during the season. In this year's exhibition game, Jung's batting form is also drawing attention. He displayed a horse-riding posture where he stretched his legs as wide as possible and bent his knees to significantly lower the center of gravity. It is interesting to see him tapping the ground with his right foot to set the timing. 토토사이트

"I've been hitting like this since last year, but I think it became a hot topic all of a sudden," Jung said. "I always think about 'how to hit well' and make changes every year. If I can't, I can't keep doing the same thing, so I think it's natural to always make changes," Jung said. "I refer to (hit form) a lot of different things. I practice one by one after seeing the strengths of all batters. Practice is important, but I think it's better to do it once in a game, so I try many things boldly."

In 2014, he followed the form of Seo Geon-chang (KIA), who had his first 200th hit in the KBO League, and since 2018, he has changed the method of holding the bat short by about two-thirds of the length along with Noriyoshi Oichi, who is famous for holding the bat the shortest in Japan.

His batting preparation posture and timing change all the time, but when he hits the ball, he maintains his style. "I change my batting form a lot, but when my bat comes out and hits the ball, it's my swing. As I think about how to set the timing before my swing comes out and how to cope with the breaking ball well, my form changes. The moment I hit the ball is the same when I watch slow scenes, whether it was when I was young or now," he said.

In his 17th year since joining the team in 2009, Jung is the best center fielder in the KBO League and is famous for his defense that has produced numerous highlight films. He stole 327 bases by banking on his fast feet. Though hidden from defense and base running, he still maintains batting average of 280 (5,277 hits in 1,477 times at bat) for 15 seasons. He did not settle down and changed his form to perform better.

Doosan manager Lee Seung-yeop also acknowledged Chung's efforts. "He has tens of thousands of styles," Lee said after smiling. "He does a lot of research on himself, and he makes a lot of changes little by little. I haven't talked about batting form at all because I've been doing well so far."

Jung Soo-bin, who himself said, "Maybe I changed my form the most in the world," said, "Even if I don't change it this much like myself, I hope my juniors don't get stagnant and always think about how to play well." I can't, but it's better to try something and not work out than to stay still."

At first glance, his batting form looks challenging. His legs need to strengthen as if he is doing a squat. However, Jung said, "My legs need to hurt to go the way I thought they would. It means I am strengthening my legs," adding, "You can't play baseball in a comfortable manner."

Jung Soo-bin, a 35-year-old veteran, is still fast on his feet and athletic ability. Last year, he had a batting average of 284 (145 hits in 510) in 136 games, 47 RBIs, 95 runs, 71 walks, 72 strikeouts, 52 steals, and posted a .376 slugging percentage of .361 OPS.737.

"Since I was young, my generation has always had a lot of players who are serious about baseball. I'm a veteran player now, but I want to be as good as I was when I was young," Jung Soo-bin said. "Seeing veteran players who are good at baseball, I think, 'If I manage myself well and always work hard, I will be able to play baseball for that long."

After the end of last year's season, Doosan's shortstop Kim Jae-ho retired and third baseman Heo Kyung-min moved to the FA, and the generation of fielders began to change. Not only the infield but also the outfield began to be bleeding young, including Kim Min-seok, Choo Jae-hyun and Jeon Da-min. Jung Soo-bin said, "Our young friends are working so hard, and we have begun to show them as a result. It is true that our power is weaker than when we were really good before, but the pitchers are good. If the players who are just starting come up, they will harmonize well with the seniors and have good results."
